The Moon Cocoon is released each week in the Intuitive Business Academy Membership
It’s a weekly Astrological forecast by our in-house Astrologist Jema.
It felt like sharing it more widely this week was the right thing to do- I have learned to listen to my gut on these things! Listen / read below! This can guide us on how the energies around us will be flowing and is just as important as whether or not it’s raining.

A trine is when 2 planets form a supportive aspect to each other. In a trine they would both be in the same element which creates an easy flow of energy between them.
A grand trine is when 3 trines join to make a triangle with 3 planets in the same degree of signs of the same element. This means that element is going to be well supported by those planets.
A square is an aspect that usually points to challenge. The signs would both be in the same mode (cardinal, fixed or mutable) this means that the planetary energies may be in conflict and pose challenges to us.
An opposition is when two planets are opposite each other, the energy can feel like conflict but often what is needed is balance. They will be in complementary elements, but each opposition will bring a slightly different challenge depending on its axis.
A conjunction is when two planets reach the same point in a chart, their themes will merge to create a blend of energies.
When a planet goes retrograde (Rx) that means that from our perspective on Earth it appears to move backwards or stand still. This never happens with our luminaries (Sun and Moon), but all other planets have cycles that cause them to go retrograde. We are most familiar with Mercury retrogrades which happen 3 times a year for about 3 weeks. Most planets go retrograde every year. During a retrograde cycle that planet will cover the same ground 3 times. First as it goes forwards. then it goes backwards over the same area, we often think about these as internalising themes that have come up. then it will go forward again so we can put that internal work into practice.
