Each week in the Intuitive Business Academy (IBA) we have a brilliant written and audio guide to the Astrology for the week created by our in-house Astrologer Jema (more about her below).
Jema has been a part of the IBA since the start and I love her brilliant insights and how she makes Astrology accessible yet magickal!

Moon Phase: Waning Crescent, New Moon and Waxing Crescent
Cycle Phase: Autumn into Winter Phase
We start this week already in the Autumn phase so the first half is really a focus on completion, making decisions, decluttering and preparing for the winter phase. To pay bills and sort out your finances. This is not the best time of the cycle to start anything brand new. If you are someone who has lots of ideas and can struggle to focus, pay attention! Jot down new ideas but hold back until the spring phase to start them. Towards the end of the week, we are coming into the winter phase – This is the phase for taking time off, self-care, inner work, journaling and connecting with your core values, your ‘why’. Reviewing the last cycle and checking in with if your actions have felt aligned. What intentions do you want to start planning for the next Moon cycle?

We begin the week with a Waning Crescent Moon in Aquarius. The Moon enters Pisces late morning and Mercury will sextile Neptune in Pisces. This watery energy can help us to be more intuitively connected, our minds will be in harmony with divine connection which can make it harder to think logically but will give us creative inspiration.
On Tuesday Venus will harmonise with the north and south nodes facilitating a conversation between love and destiny, her most fluid connection is to the south node giving a clear view of what we need to release to more deeply connect to love. Connecting love and desire to the axis of destiny can be a helpful way to look at what is being revealed during eclipse season (the 6 weeks between the Libra Full Moon and the Gemini New Moon)
On Wednesday the Moon enters Aries, Mercury sextile Jupiter, bringing expansion to our thoughts, this can bring big ideas and a big mouth too, make sure you listen as much as you talk today. Venus meets Neptune today too which connects us to art and beauty, this is a great day to visit a gallery or spend time in a beautiful garden, find some way to connect to the beauty that surrounds you.
On Thursday Mercury will trine Pluto, this can bring a tendency to manipulation and trying to sabotage others to maintain our power, we need to remember that as sovereign beings our power doesn’t come from anyone else and trying to control others will not ultimately serve us.
On Friday Pluto stations retrograde! For a couple of months all of our planets have been direct, but we are reaching the time of year that our outer planets start to go retrograde, Pluto will be retrograde until 8th October, so this is not like a Mercury retrograde which lasts about 3 weeks. Outer planets go retrograde every year and it lasts for months; this is introspective energy but on a slower scale. Over the next few months there may be processing that occurs around themes of transformation and our relationship to work, productivity and the value we place on our occupation.
This also affects the longer story of Pluto in Capricorn which involves the de stabilising of governments and hieratic systems of power. This began in about 2008 and is coming to an end next year and Pluto will enter Aquarius. It may feel more significant with eclipses in Pluto’s home of Scorpio this year.
On Saturday the Moon enters Taurus and we have the New Moon, Solar eclipse this evening! Eclipses hold a potent energy that feels beyond our control, I try not to set intentions with eclipses which happen usually in pairs twice a year. This year we have a New Moon eclipse in Taurus and a Full Moon in Scorpio, and we will see the opposite occur in the Autumn with a New Moon in Scorpio and a Full Moon in Taurus. They always occur close to the nodal axis and if you want to talk about the astrology of how and why this happens, please feel free to shoot me a message, I could talk about eclipses all day!
What you need to know this time is that the Solar eclipse in Taurus happens just as Mercury enters his home in Gemini and Venus, the ruler of Taurus, meets Jupiter. Its sexy, sweet and indulgent energy, perfect for creative projects but probably more suited to romance. It’s a gorgeous Moon, enjoy it because the Scorpio Lunar Eclipse is likely to be intense, probably not a great time to charge your crystals and tarot cards!
On Sunday Venus is sextile Pluto rx, this can bring intensity to a relationship and where there are power struggles these may be brought to the surface too.
