Tarot can be used as an effective self-discovery tool (and so much more!)
When I work with groups and with 1:1 clients, I now regularly include Tarot as part of this work. The Tarot deck is basically a way of describing the whole human experience that we are all going through. Pulling a card and asking how it relates to your current experiences and questions helps with processing and prompts you to reflect on the situation in a different way than you may have otherwise done. So often it can give us reassuring nudges that our intuition was right and we are moving in the way that feels aligned.
We generally rely too much on the right ‘factual’ side of the brain and leave out the left side, but in doing so, we are missing out on so much deep wisdom. This is the more feminine, creative energy which has been downplayed in the past but is now making a comeback so we can embrace WHOLE-brain thinking!
There are so many different varieties and decks you can buy, below I’ve added some of my favourites. Whatever your ‘favour’ – find a pack that resonates for you. I really like the Moonology cards as I work closely with the Moon. You might find a different set that you feel more connected to – it’s worth trying a few out as you can’t really tell until you’ve got the cards in your hand and you try pulling cards when called. I now have about 20 different decks, and I use them all at different times as I feel called. The ones below are definitely amongst my favourites!
Let me know if you use Tarot cards in your work and if you have any questions or want a personal recommendation of which deck to go for!
