Aries New Moon & Solar Eclipse 2025: A Bold New Beginning
The Aries New Moon is supercharged by a Solar Eclipse this year, making it a powerful portal for fresh starts, bold action, and significant change. Aries, symbolised by the Ram, brings fiery momentum, courage, and a strong desire to move forward. This eclipse marks a new chapter—especially in areas where you’ve been holding back or waiting for permission. Neptune also moves into Aries just 2 days later- the first time it’s been there since 1875!! So big shifts happening.
The Themes of Aries
Aries is the sign of independence, leadership, and instinct. It invites you to take initiative, trust your gut, and move forward with confidence. This New Moon is about choosing yourself, owning your desires, and having the courage to begin again—on your terms.

Which house is Aries in within your natal chart? For me it falls within my 4th House so brings up themes of my foundation, roots, sense of home, family, early childhood, lineage, ancestors (yes I’m experiencing that!). View a quick summary of the house themes here.

The last Eclipse in Aries for a while
The nodes have moved into Pisces and Virgo so this is the last one in Aries - this is closing the chapter that started two years ago in March-April 2023, but it’s not so much an ending, but more a new beginning- out with the old so the new can flourish.
Aries Modality: Cardinal
