Complementary therapies that have helped alongside Cancer Treatment

After getting my cancer diagnosis back in July, literally the next day I started booking alternative healing treatments. And when I shared my news on Instagram, amazing women also stepped forward and gifted me their own modality of healing which was just incredible.

Whilst no one would choose to be in this 'Club', the people I have connected with because of my diagnosis have been instrumental in keeping a strong mindset and trusting that this will all work out.

We absolutely know now that wellness is not just physical- so much also comes from the spiritual and energetic side of things. So I knew I wanted to take an integrative approach- combining both Western Medicine with surgery and chemotherapy alongside Reiki, Energy work, Mindset work and lots of meditation and visualisations

Here is what I have done so far (2 months in) and how it's helped me.

Vibrational Healing with the brilliant Fiona Clark

I know Fiona through the local networking group Zoco that I was part of, and had had a session with her before, Fiona uses the Healy device which measures your chakras and detects what deeper subconscious issues may be coming up that are affecting your energy and affirmations to heal them. It also sends energetic healing frequencies to you. Fiona was such a calming grounding supportive influence in those first days after diagnosis. http://fionaclark.co.uk/ I also have a Healy myself and have been self-treating as well under her guidance.

Reiki with Emma of Handserenity

Emma is based locally and though I'd not seen her before, I knew of her and had intended to see her at some point. I saw her for a session the day after diagnosis and she really helped to calm me down, ground me and see the bigger picture. After an hour of reiki with her I left in a totally different headspace. She pointed out that it was all happening during the LionsGate Portal (8th of August - 8/8) - a significant time of the year Cosmically-speaking! https://www.handserenity.com/emma-hands

Belief Coding with Amy

Amy had stage 4 bowel cancer 5 years ago and is now in complete recovery. I was put in touch with her via one of my own amazing 1:1 clients.

It was so great talking to her having been through it all and she now also is training with the Belief Coding methodology https://beliefcoding.com/ - so she offered me a session of that which I found incredibly powerful. Her website is- https://mood-101819.square.site/ where she also offers reiki and crystal healings. Thank you Amy!

Nicole Harlot - Womb Light Session

I am in a group with Nicole as we both work with the brilliant coach Harriette and she offered me a womb light session since it focuses on the lower chakras only- right in the area of my body where the tumour is. It's similar to reiki but adds subconscious and embodiment to the energies. This was the day before surgery so it really helped calm me down and allow me to express my emotions (I felt calmer after the crying!) Check her out here- https://nicole.harlotco.com/

Claire- Meditations for Chakras

I connected with Claire who is a spiritual medium and healer through Instagram as I saw she had been tagged in someone elses post and I then watched her video of her story with Cervical cancer last year. She has been so supportive and sent me advice and meditations. Thank you Claire :-)

Elemental Healing with Natalia

I've been in Natalia's membership, Warriors of Ascension for a while now, and I love her approach to business and life- integrating spirituality with practical business-based tips, and tuning into the cosmic energies. I had an Elemental Healing session with Natalia which is done remotely. I then listened to the recording afterwards and used it as a meditation. I found it incredibly powerful. Natalia has a special gift. https://www.nataliakomis.com/
